The NATO M&S COE will organize and conduct the 17^th NATO CAX Specialist Certification Course from 8-12 July 2024 in Rome, Italy in collaboration with the NATO Joint Warfare Centre.

The aim of the course is to prepare NATO and National CAX specialists to function as part of a Response Cell of a NATO exercise.  The NATO CAX Specialist Certification Course is part of the NATO course’ catalog and is NATO Approved.

The course is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge package about NATO exercises and training. It is focused to develop operator skills and it is required for an effective conduction of a CAX. The final aim is to create a pool of CAX specialists on the CAX support tools used in the Response Cells during NATO CAX’s.

The final confirmation of course execution will be given before beginning of the course by e-mail to registered participants. We recommend you do not arrange any non-refundable travel or accommodations before receiving the confirmation email.

• CAX and EXCON Structure
• NATO CAX tools (JCATS, JTLS, VBS3, JEMM etc…)
• JCATS short introduction
• VBS3 short introduction
• MEL/MIL Development Process
• JEMM hands-on
• JTLS Introduction, AIR, LAND, MARITIME, SOF, INTEL domains and hands-on
• Mini Exercise
• Final Exam and graduation
