The 21^st NATO CA²X² (Computer Assisted Analysis, Exercise, Experimentation) Forum, organized by the NATO Modelling and Simulation Centre of Excellence, is an event where military users, industry and academia meet and discuss M&S topics like M&S Discipline, Exercises, Experimentation, Wargaming, Analysis,  Standards, Interoperability, and so on.

The Event is open to NATO Nations, NATO Bodies, Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), NATO Partners across the Globe, and UN, EU, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Representatives. On a case-by-case basis, and upon approval, participants outside the listed entities could be admitted.

During the event it is possible to attend presentations, workshops, demonstrations and round tables on latest technology and future trends.

The NATO CA²X²  Forum 2026 will take place from 29 September to 01 October 2026 at the “Ergife Palace Hotel & Conference Center”, located in “Largo Lorenzo Mossa n. 8, Roma” in Rome (Italy) (+39 06 66441, www.ergifepalacehotel.com).

Structure and Schedule.

The Forum will be conducted in person over 3 days, the on-site badge pick up will begin on 28 September 2026 followed by an ice-breaker. Registration and payment will only be possible online. The projected schedule of the forum will be updated regularly on the NATO M&S COE web page.

Travel arrangements

NATO MSCOE will not provide transportation from / to the hotel. The hotel is a 6 minute walk from the nearest BUS stop and a 15 minute walk from the nearest (underground) LINEA “A” METRO stop “Cornelia”, Contact the hotel (http://www.ergifepalacehotel.com) to check transportation services availability.

Information security

The conference has no classification marking and all contents will be releasable to the public. The conference will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
