Concluded the 14th Edition of the NATO CAX Specialist Certification Course
From the 11th to the 15th of July 2022 in the “Adriano De Cicco” barracks in Rome, the NATO Modelling & Simulation Centre Of Excellence (NATO M&S COE), with the cooperation of the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC), conducted the 14th edition of the NATO CAX Specialist Certification Course.
The purpose of this course was to prepare the NATO and National CAX specialists to be part of the Response Cell of major NATO exercises.
The 2022 edition has been very successful, 20 students from 9 countries completed the course. A robust participation of personnel coming from NATO HQs highlights the importance to educate new CAX Specialist within the alliance in order to fill the growing need of such a professionals. The M&S Cax specialist course supports directly the increasing level of ambition of the NATO CAX/CPX exercises where the use of JTLS-GO simulation system is a fundamental prerequisite to plan, deliver, control and steer the exercise outcomes.
Col. Stefano Lo Storto (ITA Army), the NATO M&S COE Director, during his closing speech, stated: “Thanks to the cooperation with the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC), our Center of Excellence is fully committed in the continuous improvement process of its current courses, using all the available tools at national and NATO level”.
