Change of Command Ceremony at the NATO Modelling & Simulation CoE
Rome – On September, the 09th 2022, a change of command ceremony was held at the NATO Modelling and Simulation Centre of Excellence. In presence of Rear Admiral Gaetano VIRGILIO, Chief of Italian Defence Innovation Office, Col. Francesco PACILLO (ITA Army) relieved Col. Stefano LO STORTO (ITA Army) as Director of the Centre.
Col. Stefano LO STORTO during his closing remarks thanked all the M&S CoE staff for the support provided during his lead at the Centre highlighting the recent increasing interest on M&S as one of fundamental aspect in preparing for the future in a resource-constrained environment. Today our Community of Interest needs to work strongly together to guarantee expertise and guidance in the M&S domain for the benefit of NATO, Italy and our Sponsoring Nations.
