SAGA Project: Scenario Automated Generation using AI.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an emerging technology that has been progressively developing in the recent period. In particular, the machine learning (ML), extended when needed to Deep Learning and Supervised Learning, is finding substantial use within digitized contexts, favouring the development of innovative concepts and solutions. In the context of emerging technologies exploration, the use of AI to generate scenarios useful for Modelling & Simulation (M&S) and Wargaming application, eventually including the Common Operational Picture for real operation use, assumes a fundamental technical and operational value for the benefit of military operations and concept/capability development, with the aim of supporting the decision-making process.
In particular, the proposed application is based on an architecture that rely on the connection between a neural network and a Wargaming platform called WISDOM, in order to include data selected and automatically formatted by AI to fill the layers already developed in WISDOM.
The final result would be an integrated system able to automatically generate scenario filled with PMESII data in a specific situation and geographical area, based on available relevant online data and the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) and customer request.
