NATO M&S COE Delegation participates in the DSET 2026 Conference
The NATO Modelling & Simulation Centre of Excellence (NATO M&S COE) proudly announces its participation in the Defence Simulation Education and Training (DSET) 2026 Conference, held in Cheltenham, United Kingdom. The Centre was represented by its Director, Colonel Felice De Rosa, along with an official delegation. This engagement highlights the COE’s continued commitment to advancing innovation, cooperation, and excellence in the field of modelling, simulation, and training.
The DSET Conference is widely recognized as one of the leading international events dedicated to defence simulation, education, and training. It brings together military representatives, industry leaders, academia, and subject-matter experts from across the globe to exchange knowledge, present cutting-edge technologies, and address the evolving challenges of modern operational training. The conference provides a strategic platform for fostering collaboration and strengthening partnerships across the global defence community.
During the event, the NATO M&S COE delegation actively contributed by presenting its products and initiatives, showcasing the Centre’s expertise and ongoing efforts in the domains of interoperable simulation, advanced training solutions, and technological innovation. These presentations provided valuable insights into the COE’s capabilities and its role in supporting modern and future training environments.
In addition, the delegation promoted the upcoming NATO CA2X2 Forum, organized by the NATO M&S COE, which will take place in Rome from 29 September to 1 October 2026.
A particularly significant moment of the NATO M&S COE’s participation was the recognition received from the DSET organizers, who awarded the Centre the “Outstanding Team of the Year” plaque. The plaque was formally presented to the Director on behalf of the entire Centre, recognizing the collective excellence, professionalism, and sustained contribution of the NATO M&S COE to the advancement of modelling, simulation, and training within the international defence community.
The COE’s participation in DSET reaffirms its position as a key stakeholder in the international defence training landscape. By sharing expertise, presenting its initiatives, and engaging with global partners, the NATO M&S COE continues to promote innovation and collaboration aimed at enhancing operational readiness, while preparing to welcome the international community at the upcoming CA2X2 Forum in Rome.
